LA MIRADA CREEK PARK MASTER PLAN PUBLIC REVIEW PERIOD ANNOUNCED
Consistent with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the CEQA Guidelines, the City of La Mirada has prepared an Initial Study and Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) for the La Mirada Creek Park Master Plan project, which can be accessed at the link below. The proposed project involves the rehabilitation and naturalization of the approximately 15.2-acre La Mirada Creek Park. The IS/MND and appended technical studies provide the information and analysis necessary to assess relative environmental impacts of the proposed project.
Pursuant to CEQA Guidelines 15073(a) and 15105, the City has established a 20-day public review period from May 3, 2018 to May 22, 2018. All comments should be addressed to Eric Villagracia, Project Manager, City of La Mirada Public Works Department, 15515 Phoebe Avenue, La Mirada, CA 90638. Responsible agencies are requested to indicate their statutory responsibilities in connection with this project when responding.
The City will hold a public meeting on June 26, 2018 at 6:30 p.m. at 13700 La Mirada Boulevard, CA 90638 (City of La Mirada City Council Chambers). The purpose of this meeting is to present information about the proposed project and the IS/MND. Adoption of the IS/MND and approval of the proposed project is schedule to be considered by the La Mirada City Council at this time. Interested parties, including public agencies, are encouraged to attend this public hearing.
