Notice Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 Rehabilitation Act of 1973
In accordance with the requirements of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (“ADA”) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (“Section 504”), the City of La Mirada will neither discriminate against qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in its services, programs or activities, nor exclude or deny individuals with disabilities an equal opportunity to receive program benefits or services.
ADA/Section 504 Coordinator
The ADA/Section 504 Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the efforts of the City of La Mirada to comply with Title II of the ADA and Section 504 and to review concerns, complaints or requests regarding access to City programs, services or activities. Complaint and Grievance Policy and Procedures
The City of La Mirada has adopted a formal complaint and grievance policy and grievance form for prompt and equitable resolution of complaints alleging concerns, complaints or requests for access to City programs. The City’s Complaint and Grievance Policy and Grievance Form are provided below. Grievances can be submitted to the ADA/Section 504 Coordinator.
