How do I pay for a parking ticket, or contest a citation?
Methods of Payment
If you are paying a parking citation:
1. City Hall business license desk walk-in for payment.
2. You may pay by Credit Card using our Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS) by calling: (800) 553-4412 or go to pticket.com/lamirada
Visa, MasterCard and Discover accepted.
Please have the following information ready:
· Citation number and/or license plate number
· Credit Card number, expiration date and billing address
· Upon approved credit card payment, our IVRS will provide you with a confirmation number. Please be prepared to document this confirmation number.
3. Submit check made payable to the City of La Mirada.

Include the citation number on the check, money order or cashier’s check. Do not send cash.

To contest a parking citation
You must request an administrative review within 21 days of issue date by writing to the City of La Mirada Parking Citation Processing, P.O. Box 2081, Tustin, CA 92781. You must provide your reasons for requesting an administrative review and include copies of all applicable documentation relating to the citation and your appeal. They will not be returned.
