Background: La Mirada Boulevard traverses the City as a series of vertical curves creating high and low points along the route.  Three low point locations experienced drainage issues during storm events. 

Work

The project included the construction of storm drain inlets along the median island to capture the storm water runoff.  The inlets were connected to nearby underground storm drain pipes with new storm drain pipe laterals. 

Project Area

The project area was located on La Mirada Blvd at Badlona Drive, the Civic Center north driveway, and University Drive.
