La Mirada is a film friendly City offering unique filming locations. Our team will assist you through the process of reserving your film date, location, and other filming needs. Advance notice of two weeks or more is appreciated if possible.
Filming Permits & Insurance
To film on City property:
- Contact the film location staff to check date(s) availability and obtain location fee information.
Administrative Services Department
(562) 943-0131 - Submit the following documents to film location staff. Film location staff can also provide the documents.
Once the film permit application and insurance have been completed and approved, you will be contacted to obtain a business license and sign the City's facility rental agreement.
