The Community Development Department has launched a building inspection schedule hotline to verify the daily inspection schedule.  To confirm your project is on the inspection schedule, call (562) 902-2928 and listen to the pre-recorded message with the day's list of inspections.  The day's list of morning and afternoon inspections is provided.  the pre-recorded message is updated daily at 6 p.m. with the following  day's inspection schedule and can be accessed at anytime.

Building permits are required for many home improvement projects.  After permits are issued and the work is completed an inspection is conducted to ensure the work was completed correctly.  To schedule an inspection, call (562) 943-0131.
