The City of La Mirada invites the community to come out to Creek Park on Saturday, August 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., to share their ideas for the park's renovation. The open house style workshop will take place near the intersection of Golden Lantern Lane and Hartdale Avenue.
Design idea stations will be set up and staffed to invite participants to discuss and share their recreational use, design ideas, and amenity preferences. The information collected at the workshop will guide the design team towards creating a guiding vision and set goals for Creek Park.
"Preserving La Mirada's quality, well-maintained parks is a priority of the City," says Project Manager Eric Villagracia. "This workshop allows residents the opportunity to engage with RRM Design group the City's consultant to propose concepts that fit their needs.
