The City of La Mirada will host its annual National Night Out against crime event on Thursday, August 2 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at La Mirada Regional Park. The event will be held during the Concert in the Park. National Night Out is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch. The event brings residents and law enforcement together to heighten crime and drug prevention and build participation in local anti-crime programs. Representatives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, La Mirada Public Safety Team, Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), and the Neighborhood Watch Program will attend the event.
