The next Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training will be held on April 24 and 26, May 1 and 3 from 6 to 10 p.m. and May 5 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the La Mirada Resource Center. The CERT program is a 20-hour all-hazard training offered by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
This valuable course is designed to help you protect yourself, your family, your neighbors, and your neighborhood in a disaster or emergency. Lessons will include Fire Safety, Hazardous Material and Terrorist Incidents, Disaster Medical Operations, and Search and Rescue. Space is limited so sign up today at the La Mirada Resource Center, Activity Center, or Gymnasium to reserve your spot!
