Background: Asphalt concrete pavement used for roadways and parking lots is one of the City’s largest assets.  Regular pavement maintenance is required to achieve the full useful life of the pavement.  Seal coating the pavement is an effective and efficient preventive maintenance strategy for parking lots.  Seal coating provides a protective layer and wearing course for the original pavement structure.  

Work

Work included the application of crack fill, pavement patching, seal coat and restriping.

Project Area

The project area included the parking lots at the Civic Center, Behringer Park, Frontier Park, Veterans Park, Windermere Park, Neff Park, Creek Park, Gardenhill Park, Creek Park Wilderness Area, Public Works Warehouse, Theatre Warehouse, Transit Facility, and 14515 Alondra Boulevard.
