Get Prepared with C.E.R.T. Training

The next Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training will be held on April 24, 26, and May 1, 3 from 6 to 10 p.m. and May 5 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the La Mirada Resource Center.

The CERT program is an all-hazard training offered by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.  This valuable course is designed to help protect yourself, your family, your neighbors, and your neighborhood in a disaster or emergency. 

Lessons will include Fire Safety, Hazardous Material and Terrorist Incidents, Disaster Medical Operations, and Search and Rescue.  Registration will close on Friday, April 13 and one-time registration will include all sessions.  Participates must be at least 18 years of age or 16 years if a parent is attending.  Sign up today at the La Mirada Resource Center, Activity Center, or Gymnasium to reserve your place!  Space is limited.
