World’s Largest Swim Lesson at Splash!
Splash! and other aquatic facilities around the world will join together to break the record for the World’s Largest Swim Lesson on Thursday, June 22 at 9 a.m. This free event is open to all ages and sends the important message “swimming lessons save lives.” Following the World’s Largest Swim Lesson, participants age 13 and under receive free admission to Buccaneer Bay following the swim lesson, with a paid adult admission.
Drowning remains the leading cause of unintended injury or death for children ages one to five and the second highest cause for children under 14. Participation in formal swim lessons reduces the risk of drowning. In the ongoing effort to promote water safety, Splash! offers year-round swim lessons for all ages and ability levels with morning, evening and weekend classes available.
