La Mirada has seven advisory bodies including the Community Services Commission, Planning Commission, Public Safety Commission, Historical Preservation Advisory Council, Senior Council, Youth Council, and the La Mirada Community Foundation.
The City Council also reappointed Dr. Rick Bee, John Grotz, Hal Malkin, Lesley Watkins and Dr. Ray Yutani to the La Mirada Community Foundation. The La Mirada Community Foundation is a nonprofit public benefit corporation established for charitable and public purposes.
